We want to thank everyone who participated in our Online Benefit Auction. As a result, we were able to raise $1,005 for our organization. All proceeds from this auction benefit our current programs.
Throughout the month of June, we have been focusing a great deal of energy on fundraising… as we do once a year. So is the nature of being a non-profit. We’re not ones to ask for money everyday (PBS, I am looking at you… I just want to watch the Michael Buble concert… hello?). We know no one enjoys talking about money, especially when it’s a ministry that’s doing the talking. I loathe talking about money and raising funds. But we have found ourselves at the point where absolutely every single cent is crucial.
Our recurring monthly expenditures total $343 and as of right now our recurring monthly commitments total $122. These totals do not include what we receive from noncommittal giving (thank you!) or additional expenditures related to our upcoming conference in September, online support groups and more. Without additional commitments, we will cease having even enough to continue on with our current projects (ie. online community) let alone the freedom to expand and develop new projects.
So we are asking that if you have benefited from our ministry in any capacity or know someone who has, that you would please dig deep and help us finish this month of fundraising on a strong note.

We know that pornography addiction and other such strongholds are not easy to put your name on and that there are many other wonderful organizations who would appreciate your gift. The words “thank you” cannot adequately express our gratitude for coming alongside us in ministry. Our team (Jenny, Lauren, Jessica and myself) don’t do this because it’s easy. We have been these women and know the pain, isolation and hopelessness they feel. We do this because we believe that all women deserve a place to belong… to be healed… to be restored… and to be equipped to do what God has created them to do long ago.
