New Site, New Year, New You

We are so excited to share with you the recent changes we’ve made to the DGM website. These changes are a long time coming and believe they bring more structure and intentionality to the recovery process we offer women here.

Recovery from pornography addiction, any addiction in fact, is a process. At Dirty Girls Ministries, we want to come alongside you through a recovery process made up of five steps: Surrender, Confession, Accountability, Responsibility and Sharing — adapted from my book Dirty Girls Come Clean

The biggest change you will see is the RECOVERY tab.

That is where the journey now begins. The other big change is that our online community is now locked down with registration only available to those who complete the Personal Inventory (if you already have an account, you can still log in as normal). The personal inventory that we have created is an addiction snapshot. It’s important to know where you’ve been and where you are in order to get to where you want to go. By completing the personal inventory, which is confidential, we can come alongside you in your next steps instead of you walking this journey alone. Once you complete the Personal Inventory, you will have access to our free online community, we can provide you with a counseling referral and even put you in touch with a potential support group (local or online).

Additional tools have also been put in place including an Accountability Discussion & Reflection Guide.

See below for our recovery structure and how each step goes into the next. Like anything else, the more you put into something, the more you will get out of it. So we hope you will take the first step, even if you’ve been here for years, by taking the personal inventory and embrace this process. Let’s break strongholds together.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

With hope in 2014,

Crystal Renaud
