<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 Give ear to my words, O Lord ,
\nConsider my groaning.<\/p>\n

2 Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God,
\nFor to You I pray.<\/p>\n

3 In the morning, O Lord , You will hear my voice;
\nIn the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.<\/p>\n

4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness;
\nNo evil dwells with You.<\/p>\n

5 The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes;
\nYou hate all who do iniquity.<\/p>\n

6 You destroy those who speak falsehood;
\nThe Lord abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.<\/p>\n

7 But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house,
\nAt Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.<\/p>\n

8 O Lord , lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes;
\nMake Your way straight before me.<\/p>\n

9 There is nothing reliable in what they say;
\nTheir inward part is destruction itself.
\nTheir throat is an open grave;
\nThey flatter with their tongue.<\/p>\n

10 Hold them guilty, O God;
\nBy their own devices let them fall!
\nIn the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out,
\nFor they are rebellious against You.<\/p>\n

11 But let all who take refuge in You be glad,
\nLet them ever sing for joy;
\nAnd may You shelter them,
\nThat those who love Your name may exult in You.<\/p>\n

12 For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord ,
\nYou surround him with favor as with a shield.<\/p>\n
