January 2006<\/strong>
\nrandom vacation to St. Louis for New Year’s 2006
\n my dear friend Brandon died of cancer just 3 days later<\/a> and is truly missed
\nwent to the young republicans “ball”
\nwent to colorado<\/p>\n

February 2006<\/strong>
\nnew life entered the world through the birth of my nephew, Jackson<\/p>\n

March 2006<\/strong>
\nmade the move from xanga to typepad and affectionately started referring to myself as pinkhairedgirl
\nfinally saw Cirque Du Soleil when it came through Kansas City
\na freak March thunderstorm allowed me to see an actual tornado form in my own backyard – but it never landed.
\nAnne Jackson<\/a> left me for another megachurch in texas
\nbooked a flight to Dallas to visit Anne (yes before she moved)<\/p>\n

April 2006<\/strong>
\nmy parents went to australia – i had the house to myself for 2 weeks… glorious!
\ndiscovered Invisible Children<\/a> and i haven’t been the same since
\ncadbury creme eggs – enough said<\/p>\n

May 2006<\/strong>
\nvisit Anne and Chris in Dallas
\n got my first tattoo<\/a> (yes first – i am getting another)<\/p>\n

June 2006<\/strong>
\nrevamped my bathroom
\nwe moved to our new church building
\nmoved from typepad to wordpress… yes another blog move
\nhad one hilariously weird dream<\/a> <\/strong>– i totally forgot about this!!!<\/p>\n

July 2006<\/strong>
\n camp surge<\/a>
\ngot a new boss<\/p>\n

August 2006<\/strong>
\ncamp continued
\nread captivating
\nmy friend’s dad ran for ks governor in the primary. didn’t win. bummer. next time!!!!!<\/p>\n

September 2006<\/strong>
\nLight the Night Walk for Brandon and other cancer victims and survivors
\nwent on a cruise with jennifer – first real vacation ever!!!
\nauditioned and made the worship team!<\/p>\n

October 2006<\/strong>
\nsaw 4 woodpecker birds
\nwent on strike from blogging because of <\/a>ragamuffin<\/a>
\n first ever video blog<\/a><\/strong>
\ngot my macbook pro!!!!
\nwore fake eyelashes to work<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

November 2006<\/strong>
\ngot fired up about voting
\nadmitted i am an internet addict
\nturned 22 years old
\nanne came up to visit for thanksgiving
\nadopted a family for christmas (raised over $1000 – WOW!!!)<\/p>\n

December 2006<\/strong>
\nmade the incredible out of my comfort zone decision to go to AFRICA!!!<\/strong><\/a>
\nperformed in a Charlie Brown Christmas<\/a> skit
\nfreaking out about raising the $$$$ for Africa<\/a>
\npartying it up 2007 style for the new year!!!!<\/p>\n

I’m exhausted.
