As a result, we were able to raise $1,005 for our organization. All proceeds from this auction benefit our current programs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Throughout the month of June, we have been focusing a great deal of energy on fundraising&#8230; as we do once a year. So is the nature of being a non-profit. We&#8217;re not ones to ask for money everyday (<em>PBS, I am looking at you&#8230; I just want to watch the Michael Buble concert&#8230; hello?<\/em>). We know no one enjoys talking about money, especially when it&#8217;s a ministry that&#8217;s doing the talking. I loathe talking about money and raising funds. But we have found ourselves at the point where absolutely every single cent is crucial.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our recurring monthly expenditures total<span style=\"color: #008000;\"> $343 <\/span>and as of right now our recurring monthly commitments total <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">$122<\/span>. These totals do not include what we receive from noncommittal giving (thank you!) or additional expenditures related to our upcoming conference in September, online support groups and more.
