{"id":904,"date":"2008-05-23T06:30:32","date_gmt":"2008-05-23T11:30:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pinkhairedgirl.net\/?p=904"},"modified":"2008-05-23T06:30:32","modified_gmt":"2008-05-23T11:30:32","slug":"the-why-in-tragedy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sherecovery.com\/blog\/?p=904","title":{"rendered":"the why in tragedy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href='http:\/\/www.pinkhairedgirl.net\/wp-content\/scc.png'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pinkhairedgirl.net\/wp-content\/scc.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"scc\" width=\"100\" height=\"140\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-905\" \/><\/a> most of you know the news of what happened wednesday evening:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Steven Curtis Chapman\u2019s youngest child [adopted Chinese daughter Maria, age 5] died Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a car driven by her teenage brother in the driveway of the family\u2019s Williamson County home.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;ve met SCC on a couple of different occasions, but i by no means, know him. however, through his music (&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=098PwlqHD-o\">dive<\/a>&#8221; was the camp theme the year of my salvation and my first introduction to Christian music) and through the handful of people i know who have been recipients of <a href=\"http:\/\/members.shaohannahshope.org\/site\/PageServer\">his charity&#8217;s grants<\/a>&#8230; i feel like i to do. my heart continues to break for this family.<\/p>\n<p>like seriously, what do you do with that kind of news? any way you look at it right now, it is a tragedy and one that we do not understand.<\/p>\n<p>as Christians, we are told to believe that everything happens for a reason.
