technorati isn’t good for my blog-esteem

i know it’s one of those selfish “i thrive on affirmation” types of things, but it’s sorta depressing to see that i’ve gone from an authority of 46 to 26 in less than 2 weeks. i know links “expire” after a certain time has passed, but how stupid is that? :)

View blog authority

i know i am not the first to post about technorati's way of tracking (shaun said it well), but if you so wish (and haven't yet)...link me and anyone else you've been holding out on. and do your part to help stop the spread of low blog-esteem.

oh why do i even care?
