And God Answers Prayer…
On Tuesday, we posted a need. The laptop that housed all of our data had a major hard drive crash and we found ourselves in an even more emergent need of a new computer. Especially because WHOLE Women’s Conference was just 3 days away. We prayed a specific prayer for God to provide. And on Wednesday morning He did, through one of our members who took us from $477 previously raised all the way to our $1,600 goal.
She posted, “…let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. –Ephesians 4:28. The Dirty Girls Ministry has helped me way too much for me not to do more, and it’s ‘funny’ how my addiction began by my viewing the wrong things on a laptop that eventually crashed. Now I’m able to provide a computer for a ministry that is all about healing for the same addiction!”
Thank you to all who gave and for this anonymous donor for completing the goal! Now on to WHOLE Conference 2013 this weekend! Praising God for His faithfulness.
*NOTE* While we were able to purchase a new computer thanks to the funds that did come in, after two tries the data on our old hard drive has yet to be recovered. Not one single file. We have one last option to retreive the data but it is potentially expensive ($700+ was the quote we were given). But before having to commit to the recovery we get a free evaluation to see if anything can even be found on the drive. We knowthat God can make something out of a seemingly nothing situation and we are still praying for complete restoration.
