Join SheRecovery Founder Crystal Renaud Day for our coaching certification program, “Female Sex Addiction + Porn Use Recovery.”
With over 15 years of ministry, coaching, and counseling experience, Crystal is regarded as a pioneer and expert in the field of female pornography and sexual addiction. She is also a master’s level pastoral counselor and certified life coach.
This program will train and certify individuals to provide specialized coaching to women experiencing sex, porn, and love addiction. Participants in this program will be among the first to be certified by SheRecovery in this coaching speciality. Limited to first 15 applicants by February 20, 2026.
In this certification program, you will explore:
- The SCARS Model™ as a framework for lasting recovery and healing
- The types of female sexual addiction and how to assess and identify them in a female client
- The emotional and relational wounds women experience as risk factors to addiction and compulsion
- The addiction cycle including what most commonly keep women stuck and what is required to get unstuck
- The science of addiction and the impact of hormones, menstruation, and ovulation on recovery
- The implications of shame and it’s impact on faith and view of God
- The approaches to treatment for individual coaching environments
- The impact of community for women in recovery (group coaching / recovery)
- The power of story and the unique position a coach has to share from personal experience
- The latest research to gain insight into the prevalence of female porn use
- The answers to your own questions, and more!

How you can use this Certification?
- Provide one-on-one recovery coaching within ethical coaching boundaries
- Lead small groups, recovery cohorts, or discipleship pathways
- Support women navigating sexual addiction recovery, betrayal trauma, and emotional regulation
- Offer adjunct support alongside therapy, with appropriate referrals
- Build or strengthen church-based recovery ministries
- Integrate the The SCARS Model™ into existing coaching or ministry work

- Enhance credentials for ministry roles, nonprofit service, or graduate school
Attendance + Requirements:
- Live course on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 11:00am-4:00pm CDT (includes 30 minute break and Q&A).
- Participants will be required to read 90 Days to Wholeness™ (based on the The SCARS Model™) as part of the training curriculum — reading plan begins February 24, 2026 — prior to the live training.
- Six (6), 2-hour process groups begin Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 11:00am CDT. The extended lunch break format will encourage participants to bring their lunch, coffee, a snack, etc. and better fit with your daytime schedule!
- Group Dates: March 17, 2026, March 31, 2026, April 14, 2026, April 28, 2026, May 12, 2026, and May 26, 2026.
You will receive:
- Approximately 30 hours of training between the live course, process groups, and individual study (over 13 weeks)
- Paperback version of 90 Days to Wholeness™ + access to a private YouVersion reading group
- Lifetime access to the live course recording including Q&A portion
- Credential to coach women in the specialization of sex, pornography, and love addiction / compulsion / dependency
- Certificate suitable for framing (via mail) upon passing certification quiz
Disclaimers:
- Much of this course is shared from a faith-based (Christian) perspective.
- Research data comes from SheRecovery’s 2023 survey and Barna’s Beyond the Porn Phenomenon 2024 Report.
- This program can equip individuals for coaching, mentoring, and ministry-based recovery work, and can provide additional training for licensed professionals. It does not provide clinical licensure or authorize diagnosis or psychotherapy.
- While men are welcome to take this course, it is not advised that men work individually with women.
- Since this is our pilot program, it is not yet accredited—though we are working on it.
- At this time, no CEUs will be awarded for participating in this program.
Application and Payment Details
The fees for this program cover all the aforementioned. The total cost for this Coaching Certification Program is $1,100. Participants can pay in full or opt for a payment plan:
- Weekly payments of $85 starting February 24, 2026—with initial payment due at enrollment.
- Monthly payments of $275 starting March 1, 2026—with initial payment due at enrollment.
- If pay in full is selected, the total of $1,100 will be charged upon submission.
- The first payment in any plan is due at time of application submission below.
- Refunds are not provided unless extenuating circumstances apply.
