Silence is Quiet
Since it has been a while I have posted and has been kinda quiet around here… this is unfortunately an obligatory, “hey I’m not dead” kind of post. I have been consumed with writing my first…message…ever. But I am finally giving it tonight and will be back to the ole blog on Wednesday.
I am speaking on the topic of Character… and I felt it fitting to leave you all with one question to ponder (and answer) today.
Louie Giglio has this great quote:
“Follow the trail of your time, your affection, your energy, your money and your allegiance. At the end of that trail, you’ll find a throne; and whatever, or whomever, is on that throne is what’s of highest value to you. On that throne is what you worship.”
So let me ask you…
What is on the throne of your heart today?

If you’re in the Kansas City area, come on out to where I am speaking tonight. Would be fun to see you. (Please no stalkers, obsessed fans or live animals… hahahaha).

I’ve been thinking about that quote a lot today…
I know what I want to say, but in reality if I follow all those trails I’m getting to different things right now. Hmm
Meanwhile, this obsessed stalker fan (with live animal) won’t quite make it there tonight – haha – but praying it’s awesome.
Unfortunately…I think I so much of the day, I worship “my plans”. I struggle DAILY with giving over MY to do list to God. Not to long ago, I made out my to do list and then just wadded it up and tossed it into the trash…asking God, what would you have me “to do” today? It was a great day. I served people I never planned to!! So, then why do I fall back into my old ways??? Such a struggle for me. Crystal, I can’t wait to see how God will use your message tonight! I am sooo gonna be prayin’ for you, girlfriend. What an opportunity to be used! :)
You’ll be great tonight!
Wish I could be there–along with all of my live animals;-)
The time difference always confuses me. I’m not sure if you have given your message or are going to give it but hope it all goes well.
