Kansas City’s 9th annual Light the Night Walk will be held this Friday, September 15th, in conjunction with Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness Month. The Light the Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s nationwide evening walk to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer and will be held in over 300 cities across America this year during September.
I’m participating in the walk in memory of my friend Brandon Eastland and in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancer as a member of “Brandon’s Band”. As a group and individually, we are raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and I’m asking you to help by making a contribution toward my fundraising efforts. The team as a whole has raised $735 dollars so far, but would appreciate any additional support. Each donation helps accelerate cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma and brings hope to the patients and families who are on the front lines of the battle against these diseases.
Please use the link below to donate online, quickly and securely. You will receive a confirmation by email of your donation and I will be notified as soon as you make your donation. You can learn more about my efforts and make a donation by visiting the following website:

On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, thank you very much for your support. I really appreciate your generosity!
P.S. If you feel so led, please post this on your blogs so as many people has possoble can be encouraged to donate as well! If you’d like to learn more about the Light The Night Walk, please visit http://www.lightthenight.org
