Dirty Girls Update

If you’re in the Facebook Group for Dirty Girls, you received some of the following in a message earlier this week. But I wanted to write you all here in a bit more detail.

First, thank you for your partnership with “Dirty Girls: The New Porn Addicts.” I have been so overwhelmed by the support and the feedback this project has received so far.

Over 125 surveys have been submitted since the site’s February 10 launch. These are from women all over the country (and even a few from around the world). What’s amazing about what has been submitted so far is how honest women are being and also, how confirming their stories are of my book idea. However, I have this audacious goal that keeps popping into my heart and my head: 500 surveys by the end of March.

Is that crazy? Possibly, but one thing’s for sure: the need is out there and women are starting to talk about it with each survey, confession and email I receive.

I appreciate your support and ask that you continue to keep this project in the forefront of your prayers and in your blogs, twitters, etc. Keep spreading the word because women are listening and waiting to hear from us that it is okay to come out of the shadows.

I also ask for your prayers as I begin outlining and trying to piece together the direction of this book. The task is exciting but at the same time, a bit daunting. Nothing like anything I’ve done before. I covet your prayers for direction and wisdom as I move forward in this process.
