MY OBJECTIVE: PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT IN SOCIAL MEDIA

If your company, organization or brand isn’t marketing through social media tools like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or even blogging, you are missing a huge audience. And could be losing valuable business.

Social media marketing is the process of promoting your site or business through social media channels and it is a powerful strategy that will get you links, attention and massive amounts of traffic.

Those who ignore the efficacy of social media usually fall into three categories; the ones who don’t know much or anything about social media, the ones who are interested but don’t know how to use it and those who don’t believe in the value that a social media strategy can bring to any site or business.

My experience as a communications professional in a non-profit organization, a ministry director as well as a freelance blogger, writer and speaker have made it necessary for me to be on top of the latest tools for marketing and social interaction. I truly believe social media is greatest tool we have today. I first began using social media over five years ago–well before it was cool. I have seen social media grow from a way to stay connected to friends and family, to an essential tool for any a business or organization.

I have the ability to create and maintain blogs, Twitter accounts, Facebook fan pages, YouTube accounts, LinkedIn accounts and much more. Willing to work for churches, non-profits, individuals and companies. While I have vast experience with various social medias such as blogging, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube both professionally and personally, I also possess:

• a passion for effectively communicating on behalf of non-profit organizations

• a strong skill set in writing and research on virtually any topic

• and I am a proven self starter, motivated and eager to learn new things
