Like so many, I woke up on Wednesday morning very aware of the magnitude of devastation in Haiti. The reality is… we don’t know the reality of it.
Disaster brings about the best and worst in all of us. We speak a big game about wanting to help—and some do. But the majority won’t and instead, we will pass judgement on something someone says. Even though his ministry is doing a great, great work to help Haiti.
We make words bigger than the disaster. Bigger than lives.
Don’t let what Pat Robertson said overshadow the reality:
Haiti needs help.
Stop talking.
Can’t figure out if you are praising Mr. Robertson or saying he is wrong?
He is talking and doing. I am for both.

Pat Robertson has done a great deal for furthering the Kingdom. So, I would never speak ill of him unless he spoke something blatantly heresy. Unfortunately, some of the things he has said in the past have made him look a bit loony-tunes and as a result reflects on us all. But far worse things have been done in the name of Christ, so again, I am not going to speak ill. My “stop talking” “start doing” is in reference to those who are bashing him. Because he may be speaking things we don’t like—but he’s doing something to help.

what he said could be true. the main thing is that God is glorified through this tragedy.
