i survived jury duty

so after 6 hours of being subject to the jury “lottery” system, hearing about the case presented to us and being thoroughly interviewed, i was ultimately not selected for this particular jury service. i was actually kind of offended in the “so what i’m not good enough?” kind of way. due to the crime in the case though, i knew i couldn’t be fair and impartial.

even though i wanted to serve, really, it is a great, BIG relief not to because of my crazy work/camp schedule this week. it would have been 2 additional days. so, thanks for the prayers… seriously. they helped.

however, i could always have done what this guy did.
