evolution of a pink-haired girl

via an online conversation with los today, he told me i should document my hair appointment so folks could see how one becomes a pink-haired girl. here’s what i do. my stylist (who is a genius) starts off with a solid base color (which i changed this time to an auburn/brown instead of espresso), then she adds a few caramel highlights… followed by the all important pink streaks.

the end result is darker pink than i usually get – but it should lighten up after i wash it tomorrow morning.
