I am SO glad that Dirty Girls are making a podcast! Wonderful idea! Pornography is such a huge issue among women and it is seldom discussed. Bless all of you for reaching out to women who struggle with this! I’ll be a monthly listener! —Anonymous

I’ve read that porn affects a man’s brain and how it is wired. Is that true for women? If so, how does it work? If I could understand the way it works, it might help me to fight it. I don’t understand why I feel the need for it, when I hate it and want to stop. — Anonymous

Isn’t it true that if I am a slave to Christ, I can’t be a slave to pornography? If I’m not seeing victory am I not saved? — Ivy

Encouragement
Galatians 5:1 – It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

If you are someone who is trying to overcome sex addiction, but still sometimes stumble; is it okay to be involved in ministry? I am someone who has a desire to be involved in ministry and eventually become a counselor, but sometimes I fall; especially when I think I have overcome, in Christ, this addiction. Right now I’m starting to get more involved in my church, but it’s hard, because I feel guild when I fall.

P.s. I do have women in the church who know about my struggle, and are people I can confide in, but I don’t have anyone regularly keeping me accountable.
