Okay, so one of my “less than world-changing goals,” is to visit all 50 states within my lifetime. Today, I will be able to cross one off my list as I am heading to Oregon. A state I’ve never been to before. And if I can convince Jenni, I will also head over to Washington during this trip and be able to cross that one off my list as well.
Exciting times, people.
While it would increase how many I’ve crossed off, I feel It is important for you to know that I don’t count it as “visiting” if I am in a state as a layover. Being stuck in an airport isn’t visiting anything.
What’s 1 of your less than world-changing goals?
Alabama
Alaska
Arizona
Arkansas
California
Colorado
Connecticut
Delaware
Florida
Georgia
Hawaii
Idaho

When you go to PA you have GOT to visit Hershey, aka Chocolate HEAVEN!
One of my goals is to be able to ask where the bathroom is in 10 languages. (I also would need to be able to understand the answer, otherwise the question is useless.)

I’d like to retread Diane’s backpacker trip of Europe … but with me as the travelling companion.
Though I gotta say, I’d quite like to do the 50 states of the USA too. We’ve got a lot fewer states, and I’ve been to all of them…but when since our states are bigger than most large countries, it kinda negates it.

I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but one of my less than world-changing goals is to become a certified personal trainer and a certified Zumba instructor.

So the only state I have left is Hawaii. :)
But my stupid goal is actually to one day hike all the highest points in those 50 states. I have been up 13 so far.
I think a really big dream is to visit all the countries in the world. . . 22 down . . .300+ to go. ;)

We moved to KC from Vancouver,WA 4 years ago. It’s a short drive across the river.
If you happen to love shoes, Portland hsa 3 “Nordstrom Rack” stores, which happen to have alot of shoes at great prices (esp. hard to find sizes).
Have fun!

I’d definitely like to revisit the palces I backpacked in with David, but I’d possibly like to stay in some slightly nicer places, and eat more than Laughing Cow all the time!
I’ve only been in 2 US states (NY & NJ) so I have a lot of catching up to do.

It was so great to meet you this afternoon. Sorry it was a little random. Make sure you go to the Pacific Ocean and put your toes in it! I’m going this weekend if you want to tag along. Let me know. Life goal is to go to all 7 continents. But I’ll go to really southern Chile to see a penguin if that counts as Antarctica – but hopefully my boss will just take me some day.

Um… if you should choose to cross over into WA this weekend let me know! We will be down in Spanaway at Eric’s mom’s. If you feel like seeing the Canadian border later next week however, LMK – ’cause I’m closer to Canada than Oregon.
