a week of prayer

this week – is about YOU.

instead of posting anything else, i’m devoting this entire week to specifically praying for you.

over the last year, i have asked you time and again to pray for me: for my heart, my church, africa stuff, sickness, family death, new endeavors and for many, many other things. this has been a year of hurt, a lot of change and most importantly a lot of growth and healing. and for this i am genuinely thankful for you & your prayers.

so please… share with me how i can pray for you. if you have a prayer need of a more personal nature, feel free to email me at [email protected].

until i write again on sunday, april 13 –

  1. wow…so…you’re still up. Does your return on April 13 have any significance? Or is just one week from now?

  2. haha, i wasn’t up! i would have been online keeping you company. i had it scheduled the post at midnight, April 6 so it would be up on Sunday. i was long gone when you left this comment.

in terms of Sunday, April 13 – i didn’t give it much thought, but its actually the one-year anniversary since everything went down last year. so that’s just irony.

April 13 could very well mean a closing of a chapter and an opening of a new one. :)

  3. Funny thought regarding your post… I feel more compelled to write for others rather than myself and my needs today. I know that I need prayers, we all do, but there are others out there that need them as well – and in some cases I feel that they need them more. So, in no particular order, please pray for my mom and dad. Dad is finishing his cancer treatment tomorrow and the financial, emotional, and physical recovery will be long and difficult. Please pray for my sister who is still struggling with her health and emotional state, but continues to seek out God. Please pray for a friend who lost his battle to cancer and for the young family he left behind. Please pray for friends who are still struggling following the lost of their child. Please pray for the friends who lost their unborn child. Please pray for friends who are working to adopt two wonderful children, but slow moving governments and multiple chance scenarios continues to slow the process. On a special note, please pray for all of God’s servants who are struggling today and need support as they continue to carry out his word.

Sorry about the length of this post, but this prayer list can go on and on for a very long time. There are so many hurting and in need of prayers right now. It is hard to list them all.

  4. Hi there! This is my first time reading your blog. Enjoyed it. As for prayer, I’d ask that you pray for my sister. She needs strength right now to make a serious change in her life.

  5. this is so awesome crystal!

in brief..college is coming fast, and if you could pray for both me and my parents and sister handling that transition..as nerves are tense right now.

and my dad and i’s trip to israel..safety would be good. i’d like to make it to college! :]

  6. Please pray for my church. We’re only 5 months old and have already tripled in size. And now we’re growing even faster. That’s a good thing, but we really need people to step up and help serve so we can keep up with the rapid growth. Thank you!!!!

  7. Oops. Forgot to tell you the name of our church. It’s Heart of Worship. Thanks again!
